What we need now is the humidity of August. Up to now, the splendid September reminds of the legendary 1997 vintage: divinely sunny days are driving up must weights and concentration, and the cool nights keep the acidity unusually high. The grapes are replete with fruit and ringing with freshness. Perfect conditions for a great vintage in October.
The harvest of our Sekt base wine started last week: absolutely healthy grapes and delicate acidity are the building blocks of a beautiful sparkler.
