This is why we are speeding up the harvest. All hands are on deck six days a week to bring in the harvest as quickly as possible. St Laurent, Zweigelt, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris are already fully harvested.

On Saturday, we will start with the Riesling Steinmassel. Afterwards, it is the turn of the Pinot Noir on the Dechant, and in other vineyards. The grapes have attained a very refined, intensive taste. The sunny autumn is reflected in the aromatic spectrum of the berries. The wine will be a kind of mosaic of all these flavours, every single berry has another nuance to contribute to this vintage’s vibrant wines.
