Lively aromas of citrus, pears and fresh apples as well as a bouquet of flowers, some yeasty element in a younger state of ripeness, then minerals and typical peppery spice; dry and medium bodied, with again a lot of fruit, also quite powerful and rich in extract though well-balanced by its refreshing acidity, dense in structure, a very long and mineral finish. A classic single vineyard of a primary rock Grüner Veltliner.

Very fresh and elegant combined with compact structure, power and opulence. Time and aeration are needed to open, but patience is awarded with loads of exotic fruit flowery aromas honey and spice a toasty flavor and again minerals and tobacco. This is a rising star with an immense aging potential - if only it weren´t so difficult to keep the bottles in the cellar.
