2001
Brilliant light yellow with green reflexes; fine and persistent mousse; pure elegant nose that is quite fruity with green apple and stone fruit accompanied by pleasant toasty and yeasty aromas, a touch of honey, and ripe exotic components; quite complex, animated and crisp on the palate with all fruity and spicy components following through.

2004
Rich, focused aromas and flavors of ripe apple, peach, gooseberry and ruby red grapefruit give plenty of punch and power. (Wine Spectator 2006)

2002
It´s ultra peppery, with clarity and many layers; boxwood and cress; spicy and long. (Terry Theise Estate Selections/Michael Skurnik Wines, NY)

2003
This combines the clarity, juiciness and florality also exhibited by the Kamptaler Terrassen bottling with the Urgestein mineral expression and density of the Vogelsang. Pure fruit and pungent, smoky minerality characterize the long, deep finish.

2003
Picked in late October, this finished at 13,0% alcohol. Muskmelon, banana, marzipan, sweet florals and tropical fruit in the nose. Rich, polished and soft on the palate yet notably elegant and refined, this glides into a long, diversely floral, melony, herbal and entirely heat-free finish. A sweet perfume of a wine, perfectly proportional and possibly most suitable for enjoyment away from the dinner table.

2003
Harvested after the frost, this wine exhibits a heady, musky nose. In the mouth, it´s full and opulent, with
effusive flavors of green bean, nutmeg, rosemary, coffee, resin, flowers and candied lemon. Interestingly, half of it was vinified in new acacia cask, yet the native fruit is more than enough to stand up to a wood that is by nature more than a bit of warmth.

2003
Delicately spicy botanical aromas with traces of tobacco, ripe apricots; composed and mellow on the palate with extract sweetness, highly balanced with all its power; a stalwart Veltliner echoed by subtle minerality, with a huge life ahead. (Peter Moser, The Ulitmate Austrian Wine Guide)

2004

2004
Pure mineral on the nose, like chalk dust and flint, with apple and citrus flavors embedded in its sleek frame. It´s tight and peppery on the finish. For fans of the racy style. (Wine Spectator 2006)

2004
Exotic, this offers floral, talcum powder and lemon aromas and flavors on a lively structure. It´s graceful and precise, with a mouthwatering finish. (Wine Spectator 2006)

2003
The oldest vines in Heiligenstein were left to pick until last and the result displays tremendous depth and intensity. The aroma here is almost all mineral today, but one can coax out site-typical floral and herbal notes which are then reinforced on the palate, with an abundance of pit fruits, licorice, salt and pepper. Full and rich. Striking length of floral perfume and pungent minerality.

2004
There´s a nice purity to the mineral and spiced fruit flavors, with notes of lemon-lime, gala apple and peach. Firm finish lingers with well-defined freshness. (Wine Spectator 2006)

2003
Soft yellow apple, peach and brioche. Full bodied and harmonious in the mouth with ripe pear and discreet caramelized apple flavors complemented by floral nuances and given shape by lively, integrated acidity. Ver long, rich, and flavorful on the finish, leaving fresh apple and mineral salts to linger. Bründlmayer´s Chardonnay is consistently one of Austria´s very best examples of the variety. (Peter Moser, The Ulitmate Austrian Wine Guide)
