(January, 07) The choice of Wine Producer of the Year made by Sweden’s wine journalists for the prestigious gourmet magazine Vin & Mat (number 1 2007) comes hot off the press. The impressive, cross-media panel of judges represents the Who’s Who of Swedish Wine Celebrities. Once more, Willi Bründlmayer was elected among the 3 „best producers of the Year”. The Austrian Kamptal was chosen the years second best wine region just behind Tuscany. Thanks to the interest of experts, the wine country Austria is gaining profile in Sweden.

By the way, our wonderful importer VinUnic scored a hattrick as Swedish “Wine Importer of the Year 2005-2007”. Our congratulations to Stefan, Claes and the entire team! The 32 members of the panel voted by awarding points. All mentions and points were then added together. Only the sum of points reached counted for the ranking.
