Winter, Water
After the snow has given way to snow bells and grass, clover and herbs are growing in the vineyards, it is time to draw a first conclusion: the winter frosts have decimated the populations of all kinds of pests.

The moisture remaining from the snow and rain penetrates deeply into the soil and rocks, an ideal condition for a good 2009 harvest.

During the dry summer the vine roots can draw moisture from the depth, and with it precious minerals to nourish the growing berries.
